Systems Integration
Global Enterprise Managers has provided mentoring, project implementation, and maintenance support for integration projects that involve nearly all of today’s key information technologies. We have worked with the major application, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) vendors, and we have a broad knowledge of integration technologies.
GEM uses a strategic approach to systems integration. This approach involves
the following:
- Understanding the business processes
- Selecting a capable integration infrastructure – services, messaging, transformation, adapters, and business process management
- Modeling the services and business events
- Creating adapters for the corporate applications
- Deploying the service oriented architecture
This approach results in the implementation of the enterprise service bus – scalable, manageable, and poised to support business change. Many companies are spending the majority of their IT budget to manage information exchange among applications and with external partners. This creates a great opportunity to reduce costs dramatically, improve business processes, and provide better information sharing with the GEM approach to systems integration.
